Jeans, jeans, and more jeans!
If you couldn’t tell from my Weekly Lookbooks, I am obsessed with jeans. In the past I was a skinny jean fan, but recently I have been getting into straight leg and wide/flare pairs. I also have a variety of price points when it comes to my jeans. When it comes to more affordable styles I have two pairs from H&M that were were my go to choices for dressing up my summer and fall outfits and were only ~$30. The pairs I chose are white and black, and I chose both in a wide-leg style. The white pair was perfect for summer because the material was thick enough that it wasn’t see-through, but airy keeping me cool in the Alabama heat. They also paired great with staples of the summer, such as bodysuits and cropped tops. As for the black pair, they worked great with boots and when paired with sweaters allowed me to tuck them in and create an hour glass figure.
As for my middle-of-the-road pairs, I love fab’rik’s jeans because they’re a great price point ($65-95) for good quality. I recently purchased a couple pairs back in January and have worn them non-stop. My favorite pair is called the Quinn, it is a medium wash, high waisted, straight leg and I love everything about them. First, high waisted jeans are, and will always be, my go to jean style. Second, for someone who is shorter with an average length of legs for their body, these jeans stop at the perfect spot and most importantly I don’t have to always cuff the bottoms.
However, I also have two pairs of Mother Denim, which were ~$200, but I absolutely adore them and think they are worth every penny. I have had them both for multiple years and they continue to withstand my everyday life. My favorite style is a classic skinny blue jean pair that was my go-to jean for months on end, and during that time I dressed them down by pairing them with casual t-shirts and sneakers, but I also dressed them up with trendy blouses and fun wedges. Mother Denim are perfect all year round and are an investment piece that is worth the money.
So in order to share my love of jeans, I have compiled a list of different styles, colors, and price points across the market. Some jeans linked are ones I have bought and praise, and others are pairs that I wish to try if I had unlimited funds. Hopefully, by reading this you too will find your next amazing pair, and if this post helps lead you to them please let me know!
